Having studied Chemistry, specialising in Technical Chemistry with emphasis on Heterogeneous Catalysis and Instrumental Analysis, I moved to Austria to work for a supplier of industrial exhaust air purification plants.

There, I headed process development projects for the minimisation of volatile organic compounds (VOC), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and dioxin/furan (PCDD/PCDF) concentrations in gaseous emissions from production facilities of diverse industries. I also built up the laboratory.

During my employment with an equipment vendor to the semiconductor industry, I carried out efficiency measuring campaigns on exhaust gas absorber systems in semiconductor factories in Asia, the USA and Europe. Moreover, I developed and implemented the clean room analytical procedures for the quality assurance of ultrapure organometallic precursor chemicals in the USA.

In 2005 I founded the firm DrGELDSETZER which supplies services for companies in the field of chemistry.
